Constitution & Policy

Bideford BMX Community Amateur Sports Club formally adopted the constitution during the AGM on 19th October 2014. This policy document ensures that all Committee Members are fully aware of the aims and limitations of the club and how it is expect to carry out its business.

The club has also adopted the British Cycling Code of Conduct and developed a code for Members and Parents / Carers to set out what is expected of members during training sessions.

At Bideford BMX club we take the safety of our members seriously, to help with this we have a safeguarding policy in place  to ensure the club protects the safety of its members, this policy also covers Equality and Diversity and Photography Guidelines.

Bideford BMX Community Amateur Sports Club are affiliated to British Cycling which is ‘the National Governing Body for cycling in Great Britain, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, aiming to inspire participation in cycling as a sport, recreation and sustainable transport through achieving worldwide success.  British Cycling membership provides support and benefits to all level of cyclists, however you ride. Members of British Cycling enjoy discounts from top cycle retailers plus legal support and insurance.
